Designing Your Range Hood

Every Saint Udio hood is custom designed for each client and project. We can work directly with homeowners or collaborate with designers, builders, and contractors

Your main customization options include hood shape, material, finish, and the addition of trim or straps. Combining materials and finishes always helps a piece stand out. You’re not limited to what you see here. Share any inspiration photos, and we’ll happily work with your vision.

Hood Shape

  • Flare

  • Bell

  • Straight

  • Angled

  • Column

  • Mitered Corners

Body Material

  • Mild Steel

Mild Steel is our most versatile and cost-effective option when choosing a style and finish for your hood. We provide a variety of hand finishes along with powder coat options to suit your kitchen design. All mild steel finishes have a triple layer of protective sealants to ensure the longevity of the finish and ease of cleaning.

  • Stainless Steel

Stainless Steel is a popular option for range hoods. With its natural antimicrobial properties and resistance to corrosion and rust, stainless steel hoods can be left unsealed for easy touchup and cleaning. Our stainless hoods have a slightly brighter, glossier quality than the mild steel options, and pair well with other stainless appliances.

  • Brass

Our brass hoods can come in several finishes. Our Brushed Brass finish can be triple sealed to conserve a bright polished brass finish and prevent the metal from aging. It can also be left unsealed to let the brass naturally age and become more beautiful over time. Our Antiqued Brass finish comes with a hand-applied patina to get a gracefully aged appearance right from the start.

  • Copper

Just as with our brass options, our copper hoods can be sealed, unsealed, brushed, or antiqued to the level of your choosing.

Material Finish

  • Powder Coat

An enameled finish in any color your heart desires, but most commonly requested in black or white. This finish can be done in matte, satin, or gloss sheen. A great option for outdoor hoods or for a crisp, modern aesthetic.

  • Wire Brush

A sanded finish that keeps the color and character of the steel. A cool soft grey, this finish pairs well with almost any cabinet color. The dimension and movement in this hand finish makes it one of our most popular options.

  • Light Darkener

Another favorite, the Light Darken finish is a medium grey. Soft shades of blue and brown can be brought out with lighting and the surrounding colors of your kitchen.

  • Deep Darkener

Similar to the Light Darken finish, with a deep grey-black color, the Deep Darken finish can be a striking stand out against white tile, or a compliment darker cabinets or appliances.
